About

The availability of GPS and other precision ag technologies on agricultural equipment has enabled growers to collect geo-referenced spatial data related to different field operations. Data management consists of recording and organizing spatial data for different field operations so it can be utilized for making better and profitable crop management decisions. Data analytics includes analyzing and utilizing spatial data to create maps or make decisions for site-specific management of crop inputs such as fertilizer and seeding prescription maps, as well as verification of application accuracy and equipment performance by analyzing as-applied maps.
